Carter’s Quay, Poole

ACD was commissioned in 2011 to provide integrated ecological, arboricultural and landscape architectural services for a mixed use regeneration project.

The consultant remit was varied and included the overall landscape masterplan, preparation of landscape design code, details for public squares, play areas, quay side and a network of public open spaces creating a network of green infrastructure through the site. ACD Ecology oversaw the successful translocation of a large population of slow worms, that were present within an area of the site, to a receptor site within Wimborne.
