Coldeast Hospital, Hampshire

This large old hospital site is home to many large parkland trees and is now being developed by various companies in several phases.

ACD have been involved in much of the initial tree survey work, providing the baseline constraints, following on to overseeing the tree protection on some of the sites during construction. Managing such large sites, for different companies, allows us as a practice to refine our approach in tree protection to ensure a viable working strategy that fits in with the construction team’s requirements. Our close relationships with local council tree officers allows for issues, when they inevitably arise, to be quickly and smoothly resolved.
