Katie recently graduated from the University of Southampton after completing both a degree in zoology and a masters in evolution. She has previous experience working on a variety of ecological surveys including bat, badger sett, and great crested newt. She has previous experience working on ecological research projects as part of both her degree and masters.
Katie is incredibly passionate about all aspects of conservation and has worked with a variety of rehabilitation charities including East Dorset Bat rescue, Hamworthy Hedgehog rescue and Wildlife in Need. She conducted a project in the Galapagos which involved mist netting finches and assessing the anthropogenic influence on bill size compared to 1960s specimens.
