ACD Environmental have been working with Howarth Homes, on behalf of Paradigm Housing, assisting with ecological and landscape architecture consultancy services for their project in Enfield.
Recently, one of our ecologists had the pleasure of visiting the project nearing completion, which does not happen often but was greatly received! In this case, the site visit was undertaken to ensure the integrated bird and bat boxes had been installed within the development. ACD were pleased to see all the bird and bat boxes had been installed correctly following the guidance of our Ecological Enhancement Plan.
A variety of integrated boxes were installed to cater for numerous species, some of which are in decline. Seeing a development place all their boxes close to suitable foraging and connecting habitats demonstrates a perfect example of good practice.
