ACD Environmental was excited to undertake fieldwork with NJC Surveys in Essex. The purpose of this fieldwork was to gather baseline information including photography and total survey station data for the production of fully verifiable photomontages. This fieldwork was not only undertaken in line with the Landscape Institute’s ‘Visual Representation of Development Proposals’ but also adhering to social distancing requirements.

The weather was perfect for the photographic survey with high clouds, still air, no haze and clear visibility. The fieldwork is just the first step in the production of fully verifiable photomontages with the next being the creation of a model in CAD which geo-locates the camera position using data from the total survey station. Our team of landscape architects and graphic designers will now finish the production of the fully verifiable photomontages to support a forthcoming application.
