Cerys Read
Cerys joined ACD Environmental in April 2024 and is a postgraduate of FdSc Integrated Wildlife Conservation from the University of West of England. She holds partial credit towards MSc Land and Ecological Restoration at the Eden Project, as part of Cornwall College/Plymouth University. Her academic experience has provided her with a well-rounded knowledge base on ecology, conservation, and restoration.
Cerys has experience working in consultancy ecology and conducting protected species surveys, working mostly with bats, reptiles, and great crested newts. Cerys has gained valuable practical experience with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Conservation Volunteers carrying out woodland management volunteer work and Wiltshire Botanical Society training in botany identification.
