Charlene joined ACD Environmental in February 2024 and has a master’s degree in Applied Ecology (MSc) from the University of Gloucestershire. Charlene’s dissertation research focussed on bat populations in a semi-natural ancient Gloucestershire woodland and was used to inform Natural England’s woodland management plan.

Charlene is a member of the Gloucestershire Bat Group and has participated in cave hibernation counts and transect surveys run by the Bat Conservation Trust, as well as other citizen science programmes run by the likes of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Froglife.
